Cody Knight
Assistant Coach

Cody Knight joined the Islanders’ Track and Field program as an assistant coach in October of 2012 after Knight spent the Spring of 2012 as the Islanders' volunteer coach.

Knight specifically worked theSpring of 2012 with the high jumpers and middle distance runners.Under his guidance, Knight led Roger De La Cruzto the 2012and 2013 NCAA West Preliminary Round in thehigh jump and a first-place finish at the Southland ConferenceIndoor Championships.  

Knight attended Missouri ValleyCollege, where he ran cross country and was a middle distancerunner and long sprinter for the track team. He graduated in thefall of 2008 and became the graduate assistant coach beforebecoming the assistant coach for cross country and track and fieldat his alma mater. 

"Cody will definitely help theprogram having him in a situation as a graduate assistant where hecan give us almost full time attention," Flanagan said. "He hadgood experience as a coach at Missouri Valley College and he isready for the transition to Division I."

Kevin Robinson
Assistant Coach - Jumps & Multi-Events

Robinson comes to the Island in 2017 after serving as a Volunteer Coach at Portland State University the previous year. A former decathlete at PSU, Robinson earned a Bachelors of Science in Community Health Education during his time in Portland, and joins the Corpus Christi staff primarily to aid in coaching the team's jump and multi-event athletes.
